An Incredible Devotional! From the moment I began to read "I Come to the Garden Alone", I knew this devotional was different. Each devotional entry has a beautiful song of meditation that prepares the heart, mind and soul for worship with the Father. The words to the psalm provided always minister to my soul, and then the devotional topic touches my heart in such a wonderful way. I always come away from my "quiet time" with the Lord on a higher level of spiritual intimacy. I really believe Ms. Phillips has capture the heart of what devotion with the Lord is truly about. You don't have to be a psalmist to celebrate the love of God in song and in inspiring word.

Refined by Fire: Discovering Victory through Adversity

A Blessing to Me After reading Abby's testimony in "Refined by Fire: Discovering Victory through Adversity", it gave a sense of security and showed yet another quality of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  In my three short years of salvation, I was able to see how God's glory shone through in her circumstance as a young Christian, and how He laid His forgiving and loving hands upon her. Her story also demonstrates how God has forgiven us for our past lives, how He wants us all to live this life to the fullest, and how all is forgiven. If He did it for Abby, He'll surely do it for me.

I've recently shared my testimony with those God has placed in my path, and have learned to be obedient to His spirit, as well as demonstrate to others that, if He did it for me, He will do the same for you! Abby's testimony was a blessing to me! ~ Alura Crume
