"A Drink from the Well: Refreshment for the Soul" contains devotionals from women from all around the globe that have different backgrounds, from various denominations, but all have one thing in common; their desire to draw closer to God.

Abby was honored to provide the title for this devotion, as well as design
the website for the Ready Writers, the group of women who authored this book.

After reading
"A Drink from the Well", the reader will walk away fulfilled; no longer searching for someone or something to fill a void which can only be filled by God's love. This compilation screams out intimacy. The writers are able to identify with the feelings of emptiness and share the secrets of drawing closer to God. Once feeling parched each woman takes a drink from the well and her soul becomes refreshed.

Abby is also a featured author in the new Christian women's encouragement book Refined By Fire: Discovering Victory Through Adversity! Here's a sneak peek from Abby's piece: "Tag, You're It!"
                                                              ~
Remember playing "Tag" when you were a kid? If you were "it,"  everyone else had to run and dodge to keep away from you. If you managed to touch someone, that person became "it."

Our world, and sadly the church in particular, often has a nasty habit of labeling the less than perfect among us as "it." Pariahs. Untouchables. Someone to be avoided. And women are often judged more harshly than men. While you search for help, healing, and support, others run and dodge to keep away from you, your faults, and your sin.

But if we look to the Word of God, our guidebook in this Christian walk, we see a different treatment of broken women, and we see how powerfully that treatment impacted their lives. It is that example I want to focus on as I take you on a short but profound journey into the lives of five women.
